1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how The Pawlure (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use thepawlure.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is needed to provide the Service:
- The photo of your pet that you choose to upload, used solely to generate your preview and final portrait.
- Your email address, provided at checkout, used to deliver your purchase and related order communication.
- Basic device and session identifiers (such as a hashed IP address and browser fingerprint) used to prevent abuse of free previews. These identifiers are stored in a one-way hashed form — we do not retain your raw IP address.
- Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to generate your previews and final portrait, process payment, deliver your purchased file, respond to support requests, and protect the Service against fraud and abuse of free generations.
4. Categories of Third-Party Recipients
We share information only with service providers acting on our behalf, described here by category rather than by name, as our specific processing pipeline is treated as confidential business information:
- A payment processor, to securely handle your transaction.
- An email-delivery provider, to send order confirmations and your purchased file.
- A cloud storage provider, to host uploaded photos and generated images.
- Third-party AI and image-processing providers, used to generate your preview and final portrait.
Each provider is contractually limited to using your data only to perform its specific function. If you submit a formal data access request (see Section 7), we will identify the specific recipients of your personal data on request.
5. Data Retention
We keep data only as long as needed to operate the Service:
- Free preview images are retained for 72 hours from generation, after which they are deleted.
- Token-based preview links (issued with paid generation packs) remain valid for 7 days.
- Purchased high-resolution final files are retained for 30 days from delivery, after which they are automatically deleted from storage.
- Order and email records are retained for as long as necessary for accounting, legal, and customer-support purposes.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We use analytics tools — Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — to understand how visitors use this site. These are non-essential and only run with your consent, which you give or decline via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the Your Privacy Choices controls above. See Google's and Microsoft's own privacy policies for details on how each handles this data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@thepawlure.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Age Restriction
The Service is intended for use only by individuals aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and one-way hashing of device/session identifiers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where this involves a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
12. Contact
For any privacy-related questions or requests, please contact us at support@thepawlure.com. The Pawlure is operated by an independent sole proprietorship registered in Poland.
